Model portfolio photoshoot

Today I’d like to introduce you to Anita, who asked me to shoot some photos for use in her modelling portfolio. I met Anita at a recent Asian bridal show, where I was busy photographing the event for the organisers, and we talked briefly about arranging a photo shoot as soon as time allowed. Well, after a short pause in proceedings, we finally managed to get together at our home studio to take the photos Anita was after. Anita was a great model, very confident and willing to take directions where needed. So let’s take a look at a few of my favourites from the shoot:

I love this next shot – a very simple, natural looking photograph, which I think suits Anita’s dreamy expression perfectly…

Of course, since Anita is looking to build up a modelling portfolio we were also looking for some variety in our photos, so we took a series of pictures with a different ‘feel’ to them over the course of the session.

Another of my favourites, I have something of a soft spot for high key studio photography…
