Headshots photography in Surrey

Let me introduce you to Michael Thomson, a local author based in Mitcham, Surrey. Michael wanted some high quality headshots for both his website and for submission to magazines for articles being published… so we were looking to take some strong, eye-catching portraits.

Not being a huge fan of sitting in front of a camera, Michael also wanted someone who could put him at ease during the shoot so he could relax and enjoy the experience. Well, anyone that’s been photographed by me will tell you our photo sessions are very relaxed and informal! We took a series of headshots with different looks and feel – and contrary to what Michael had led me to believe, he did an excellent job of posing for my camera, which led to some really strong headshot portraits…

One of Michael’s short stories, “True colours” is being published in the April edition of Writers Forum Magazine and will also be available in WH Smiths and Waterstones during the last week of February. I quizzed our author about the storyline and he described it thus:

“It’s a comedy love story about a rugby-playing macho man who has an accident and gains a paranormal skill as a result – he can “read” the auras that people emit from their bodies.

So when he meets a pretty young girl, falls in love with her, yet she has no aura, he’s plunged into confusion…”
