Surrey wedding photography at Loseley Park
Today I would like to share a few photos from the marriage of Lynsey Grace and Andy Prentice – a fun-loving couple, who were recently married at Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, Godalming before moving on to their wedding reception at Loseley Park, Surrey.
We started our day by meeting up with Andy and the groomsmen, who were preparing for the day at The Kings Arms and Royal Hotel in Godalming. The boys were in fine spirits, and looking forward to the day ahead… which as it turned out was going to be hot, hot hot!

After leaving the guys to finish readying themselves, we headed to The Manor House in Godalming, where we were to meet up with Lynsey, her bridesmaids, and her bridesmen…

Lynsey started the day with a massive smile on her face, which stayed there all day… and looked stunning!
Soon enough it was time to head off to church for the wedding ceremony at the Church of St. Peter & St. Paul. The wedding ceremony had a lovely feel to it, helped along in no small way by a very relaxed vicar in possession of a great sense of humour: perfect!

With the ceremony over, it was time to sign the marriage certificate, before heading outside to receive copious congratulations from family and friends, before moving on to Loseley Park for the wedding reception…

Loseley Park is a beautiful stately home set among parkland grounds, just south of Guildford in Surrey and makes a stunning wedding venue combining both the charm and elegance of the stately home itself, with beautiful gardens, and a lovely rustic tithe barn to fully cater for your guests during the wedding breakfast. Not only is this an ideal wedding venue terms of spoiling your guests, but it also provides a fabulous backdrop for some great wedding photography… and since Lynsey also just so happens to be a wedding photographer too, I’m sure this was no coincidence!

Can you tell that Lynsey is a fan of Downton Abbey? …and what a perfect setting for a more traditional wedding photo….jpg)

Of course, it’s no fun if you can’t include your best friends too….jpg)
…even if they are all a little… Uhum… bonkers!.jpg)
After taking a few photos inside the house, we then moved on to the drinks reception, which took place in the beautifully kept garden area, before moving in to the tithe barn for the wedding breakfast:

The tithe barn at Loseley Park is full of character, with a lovely atmosphere – and some great light for photography…

Ever-keen to keep their guests entertained, the entire wedding party joined the reception by dancing in to great applause, before enjoying their meals and the speeches which followed.

Once the wedding breakfast was done it was laughter all round, with some of the funniest speeches we’ve heard that really did have everyone in stitches..!

Almost there now… back in the tithe barn, and it’s time for the first dance, before the evening celebrations kicked off with some serious boogying going on…

…and as Karen and I headed home to re-charge for another busy wedding the following day, the fun didn’t look like it was in any danger of stopping any time soon!
Congratulations to Lynsey and Andy, it was a fab wedding day and it’s plain to see that you guys really are made for each other. 🙂
