The marriage of Sarah Dew and Jon Herbert, Saturday 5th September 2009

Hi all!
Today I’d like to introduce you to newlyweds Sarah and Jon, who were married last Saturday at Christ Church, right in the busy centre of Woking, Surrey. Christ Church is a really lovely relaxed venue, and we got some great photos of the wedding service, as the wedding party and guests enjoyed the ceremony, which was performed by Jon’s father. After the wedding service, Sarah and Jon “Herbie” Herbert were whisked away to the reception at Guildford Cathderal Refectory in a classic “Herbie” car complete with the number 53 plate on it. Very nice!
At the points when we weren’t shooting in our reportage style, Sarah did a great job of posing for me throughout the day – and as you can see above, made an absolutely fabulous bride – and though Jon explained to me that he wasn’t usually too comfortable in front of the camera… he did an absolutely cracking job too! We got lots and lots of great pictures, both informal and posed and I can’t wait to show them off… so let’s look at a few previews right now:

Well… a great series of photos from a really lovely wedding, I hope you’ll agree. The event was a lot of fun to photograph, and both Kev and I enjoyed covering it for Sarah and Jon. I hope you enjoyed the previews, and as usual do feel free to post your own comments below.

These photos are absolutely gorgeous! I cant wait to see more of them. Its great to see the bits on the day that I missed and relive the memories I was part of.

These are amazing.
What a variety of styles and excellent mix of colours and the characters – I think the photo’s, even in the examples show what a great couple the camera man had to show his skills, and what a fantastic couple they make!

Oh my goodness…wish you’d shot our wedding. Absolutely love the way you have captured the wholesome goodness, fun and frivolity of the entire occasion. I’ve waited my whole life for that photo…and I can just see A’s left shoe which is so shiny and definitive as if I were to describe A it would be as ‘shiny’. Don’t get me started on JFH…what a looker. Sarah scrubs up well as well. Go Armin Hary. Love to all!
Amazing photos guys!!! I was typing in Christ Church Woking in Google images looking for a pic of the church for one of my projects and the photo of you too and Gin etc came up so I clicked through. Such stunning photography aided fundermentally by the fact that you guys looked SO ace!!! Love you guys!! x x x
