Pam and Dave’s Oaks Farm wedding photography

The marriage of Pam Thomas and Dave Hunt at Oaks Farm Barn, Surrey on Saturday 2nd October 2010

Hi all,

First up today I’d like to apologise for the tardy arrival of this post – coming up towards the end of a fantastic but exceptionally busy wedding season, we’ve been absolutely swamped in wedding photos this year, so have been working ’round the clock to keep up with everything… and when there’s more coming in than we can complete in a given time then something has to give. Rather than sacrificing quality for speed, this means our usually more regular blog posts get pushed to the backburner a little…

So let’s talk about Pam and Dave’s wedding day… and what a day this was! As you can see from the photo above, we did have more than a little bit of weather for the wedding day… but was this enough to dampen our spirits? No way! Pam and Dave had a great wedding and despite a fair bit of the wet stuff falling, Oaks Farm remained cosy and dry on the inside with everyone enjoying the cosy atmosphere in both the main barn area and the orangery. Our couple and families were wonderful to work with and didn’t let the rain put them off for a moment. We did manage to stay dry for the first half of the day, so we took adavtange of this to take some nice photos outside of our bride with family, bridesmaids, and the groom and best man before the ceremony.

But enough of my ramblings… let’s show you a few more photos from the day:

I loved the colour and detail in the bridal bouquet…

In the gardens before the rain…

No dampening of the spirits here: Dad looks dry enough 🙂

Congratulations to Pam and Dave, and thank you for being such a lovely couple. I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful honeymoon, and I know you’re going to love your wedding album. I hope you’ve enjoyed the previews here today – and please do feel free to leave your comments below!

All the best,

Rob.
