Morden Hall Wedding Photography London. Lizzy and Brendan’s wonderful wedding day at the Morden Hall wedding venue in south London. This July wedding was another wedding day that took place during the very hot July heatwave! I’m currently writing this blog during a typically British rainy day, well, in fact, more of a downpour! Morden Hall is an impressive 18th-century country house, which is set within 125 acres of beautiful National Trust parkland. Morden Hall underwent extensive renovation in 2015 and is a wedding venue with ample space and beautifully decorated rooms.
This special day was not only a wedding but a time for catching up. Since the couple lives in New Zealand, I’m sure they don’t get to see this special group of people as often as they would like. Lizzy’s mum played a big part in the organisation of the day and she did a splendid job and everything ran smoothly. Essentially a family day, with entertainment for the children to enjoy. The feeling was this was a day for a good catch up.
A friend designed the artwork for the table names and table seating plan. With their beautifully bold colours, they really made an impact and provoked interesting conversation amongst the wedding guests. I thought the wedding breakfast room (Mulberry Suite) was decorated beautifully. Some very good speeches entertained all the guests before the meal. Let the fun begin…
We left this lovely couple not long after the first dance and everyone, as you can see, was getting into the party spirit. Rob and I are sure that everyone enjoyed a really great celebration.
