Hi all… happy new year to everyone!
I hope you all enjoyed a great Christmas! We certainly did and indulged in far too much eating, drinking, and general festivities. Anyway, now it’s time to get back to work, and I’d like to start off by sharing some photos from the last wedding we shot right before Christmas.
After meeting up with Mel and Matt earlier in the year for their pre-wedding photo shoot, I knew this wedding was going to be a corker. Here’s a couple who don’t take anything too seriously. With a Christmas theme set for their wedding day, I knew they were going to enjoy themselves… and enjoy themselves they did!

Both the wedding and reception took place at The White Horse Hotel & Brasserie Romsey Hampshire. We met up in Romsey then made our way to the hotel and up to the penthouse suite where we found bride Mel busily doing Mum’s make-up.

Meanwhile, the boys were in good spirits outside.

Once the wedding ceremony began, it was down to serious business. As I’m sure anyone who knows them will vouch, this pretty much sums up Mel and Matt – lots of fun, lots of smiles.

There were a couple of times during the day where I thought I’d stumbled into a Dickensian novel. When we were taking the first photo shown at the top of this post (aided by a somewhat unpredictable but very fun snow machine). Also when the carol singers turned up to entertain the guests in the evening. Very Christmassy!
