The wedding of Mary Freeman and Stuart Money on Sunday 23rd May 2010 at Oaks Farm Barn, Shirley, Surrey

Lovely wedding to show you today: Mary and Stuart, who were married last weekend at Oaks Farm, Shirley – and what a scorcher of a day to be married on! Sunday dawned clear and bright, and as Karen and I made our way out to photograph the wedding we knew it was going to be a hot one. First stop was with Mary, getting ready at home in Wallington and clearly looking forward to the day. With Mum, Dad and her two bridesmaids on hand, everything was well under control here so we were able to get some lovely pictures of Mary before we set off to Oaks Farm to meet our groom, Stuart.
Once at the wedding venue, we soon bumped into a very casual looking Stuart – still in T-shirt and jeans as he met with the registrars before the wedding. A few photos with the groomsmen, then the wedding ceremony was soon upon us and went off without a hitch. The remainder of the day stayed hot and balmy, with family and friends alike seeking shade and sipping drinks in the cooler areas – with only mad dogs and photographers staying out in the midday sun 🙂
So… let’s take a look at some photos:

What an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding! I think you’ll agree our bride and groom both looked great, and had a great day. After quite a major revamp of the pond area, the gardens at Oaks Farm are also looking beautiful again, and offer a lovely quiet place to relax with some welcome shade from the sun too.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the previews – as always, your comments are welcome.
All the best,
Rob.
