Today I’d like you to meet Liz and Alex who are getting married at the end of January, and asked for a pre-wedding photo shoot to help familiarise themselves with how everything will work on the day of the wedding.
We met up last Sunday at Virginia Water and proceeded to take a little walk around the lake’s edge looking for a quiet spot – although we hadn’t banked on quite so many other visitors also enjoying winter walks and actually found it quite crowded!
Ignoring that, we walked, talked, and then got down to some photos of our happy couple. After just a few minutes both Liz and Alex soon got into the swing of things, and I think we got some lovely pictures – despite the cold!
Let’s show you some then…

I love to shoot into the sun… backlight, flare, romance…

A walk in the woods…

…and some playtime!

Eventually, we found a less populated avenue among the trees, just a little way from the crowds…

And finally… a lovely photo of our couple by the water’s edge.

Top marks to both Liz and Alex, who braved the elements without a word of complaint, were open to all my silly suggestions, and were even still smiling at the end of the shoot!
…and I promise no leaf-throwing on your wedding day!
That’s all from me right now – do feel free to leave comments, I’d love to hear them as always 🙂
All the best,
Rob.
