Kent wedding photography Chilston Park Hotel.  The marriage of Claire and Phil at Chilston Park Hotel, Maidstone in Kent.

Today’s couple informed us in advance that they didn’t feel ‘at home’ in front of the camera.  They wanted informal, unobtrusive wedding photography for their big day.  This is something that Karen and I are very accustomed to, so that wasn’t going to be a problem at all.

We met Claire first, for some photos of the bridal preps.  At this point, she was fully relaxed since her make-up artist is also a very close friend who was full of reassurances about everything.  Our groom Phil, on the other hand, did have a few little things to worry.  Namely, his best man was travelling back from France after having watched a Euro 2016 football match the day before.  Unfortunately, he was running late and not reachable by mobile in the run-up to the big event! All worked out perfectly in the end though, with the wedding ceremony taking place complete with best man, the sun was shining and a thoroughly enjoyable day at Chilston Park Hotel.
