The marriage of Madeleine Mortelmans and Luke Osborne on Saturday 4th September 2010. Church service at St. George’s Church, Shirley and wedding reception at Addington Palace, Surrey

Well, the picture above pretty much says it all… I’d like you to meet Madeleine and Luke who married in St. George’s Church, Shirley – and boy did they have a good time! I met Maddie and Luke way back in February of 2009 at a wedding fayre at Addington Palace, and remembered even from then that I liked them right away. These guys are super laid back and were definitely after a photographer they could have some fun with – so it was with great pleasure that we made the most of this sense of fun to get some really cracking pictures for our bride and groom.
Plenty of laughter throughout the day – Maddie taking the mickey out of both Kevin and I and loving every minute of it, and our groom Luke was just the same too: a perfect match! Less keen on too much “Mills and Boon” type photography, we soon learned that the best way to photograph Maddie and Luke was to simply let them run riot and do what they do best – a pair of jokers, in their element when they’re enjoying themselves.
So… let’s take a look at some wedding pictures then!

I have to tell you a little bit about the next two pictures… these guys (and girls) are called Graffiti Classics and this is the first time I’ve seen them, but they fitted the bill perfectly for Maddie and Luke – after appearing to be a traditional string quartet during the church service, they turned out to be absolutely mad at the reception, and were one of the most entertaining acts I’ve seen in a long time! Seriously, if you’re even thinking about having a string quartet at your wedding and you have any sense of fun at all I highly recommend you checking these guys out at their website here: The Graffiti Classics

There you go – lots of fun and a grand wedding day for Maddie and Luke. I hope you enjoyed the previews, we have lots more to come for our newlyweds just as soon as I’ve finished their proofs and album design. As always, your comments are welcome.
Rob.
