Hi all, today I’d like to share a few wedding photos from the marriage of Helen and Andrew, who tied the knot last weekend at the beautiful Emmanuel Church in Croydon and then went on to enjoy a lovely wedding reception at Coltsford Mill in Oxted, Surrey. Having photographed at Emmanuel Church before, I knew we’d be in for a treat here since the church is lovely inside with some really rich colours just waiting to be captured on film (uhumm… ok, on digital sensor then – but I’m sure you get my drift). As for Coltsford Mill this was our first visit here and Kevin and I were pleased to find it to be a delightful venue and with  friendly and helpful staff to boot.

It has to be said we’ve had sunnier days for weddings… but neither Helen or Andrew let any weather woes put a damper on things at all. The wedding went off without a hitch and the reception was a very relaxed affair. After a very wet drive between church and reception, we were also pleased to catch a break in the weather and get some really lovely photos in the reception grounds before the wedding party sat down for food. Day turned into evening, and after sneaking away for a few more shots with our bride and groom Kevin and I shot the first dance, then went home happy that we’ve got some great shots of what was a really nice wedding in the bag. As I hope you can see from the photos, this was a lovely wedding day, and we were really pleased to see everyone got into the swing of it for the photography too.
