Stacy and Adam’s wedding day at St John’s Church and The Burford Bridge Hotel

Saturday 25th April 2009, and Kevin and I find ourselves in St John’s Church in Belmont to photograph the wedding of Stacy Kennard and Adam Weller. Stacy and Adam are a great couple: young, smiley and very easy to get along with.

After a few photos at the house with Stacy we took our short journey down the road to the church where we met up with Adam, who was cool and calm as he greeted his guests. The wedding went off without a hitch, and we got some great pictures during the ceremony as an emotional couple said their vows.

After this it was on to the wedding reception at the Burford Bridge Hotel, situated at the very bottom of Boxhill near Dorking – but not before we took a quick 10 minutes for some photos at the summit… and I managed to fall down the hill in true keystone cop style, complete with camera in hand!

So… uhhumm.. After my slightly less than dignified fall from grace I managed to pick myself up, dust myself down, and continue to shoot our couple who were by now almost falling over themselves… with laughter. Ah well – we all have our moments 🙂
