Emma and Chris started their wedding day with an intimate civil ceremony at the impressive Guildhall. The ceremony room houses an incredible collection of portraits and impressive chandeliers. An elegant grade 1 listed building, designed by Sir Thomas Fitch and completed by Sir Christopher Wren in 1689. Steeped in history and is a dominant feature of the town and has seen Royalty and rock stars tie the knot here.

Following the wedding ceremony, fun, fun, fun was the order of the day. A bubbly couple who thoroughly enjoyed their wedding day. They were determined to ensure that all their lovely guests also had a great day. There were lots of very special individual touches to this wedding day. A boat ride on the river Thames which everyone enjoyed. Followed by an evening food market for the wedding guests to enjoy. A special mention for the delicious looking wedding cake, which looked too good to eat, baked by Francis Quinn – BBC’s Great British Bake Off Winner 2013.

We had a good day photographing today’s newlyweds in a particularly relaxed documentary style of wedding photography and enjoyed taking lots of lovely pictures during the river cruise as well as the rest of the day.
