Fun Windsor wedding photography at The Oakley Court Hotel

Windsor wedding photography. The marriage of Nicki Talbot and Marc Johnson at The Oakley Court Hotel in Windsor.

Today’s images are from Nicki and Marc’s wedding day which took place on a balmy day in August. It was a deceptively iffy-looking start to the weather during our drive to Windsor in the morning.  However, this turned out to be another scorcher of a day – in more ways than one!

Nicki and Marc are a very relaxed couple, quick to laugh, and definitely up for a thoroughly good time. Firstly, we first met up with our bride Nicki as she prepared with her bridesmaids.  Then straight after, hot-footed it downstairs to meet Marc and prepare for the wedding ceremony itself.

With all the excitement of the day, Nicki and Marc’s little lad Stan wasn’t quite sure what to make of what was going on.  So he joined Mum and Dad for a sit-down wedding ceremony, taking pride of place on Mum’s lap throughout. 🙂

…and what better way to start married life than with a nice relaxed boat trip down the river Thames?

Skipper takes a vote of approval from the ladies… 😉

This was our first visit to Oakley Court Hotel, and I hope it won’t be our last… the hotel offers a lovely mixture of warm atmospheric indoor furnishings, and some lovely grounds, both for guests and for your wedding photography… and with the opportunity to take a boat trip during your wedding reception, this really adds a nice option for something different on your wedding day.

I think it’s safe to say that our bride, groom, family, and friends all enjoyed a really special day for the wedding, and it was a pleasure to be a part of it.
