Wedding photography at Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel Gloucestershire. Or I could call this post “The one that almost got away”. Notice anything about the weather in these photos? Yes, it’s a far cry from the f-f-freezing cold weather we’re having right now. That’s because this wedding was held back to mid-July earlier this year. One of the hottest days of the whole year!
Edward and Pooja came all the way over from Australia to get married in the UK but were only over here for a short time. They followed their English wedding ceremony with another celebration back in Australia very soon after the actual wedding. For that reason, we had something of a rush-request to get the photos finished. The intention to display them at their Aussie reception. We just about managed to get everything done in time. This was thanks to the wonders of modern technology and FTP. Our bride and groom had their completed wedding photos within two weeks of the wedding being shot. The only thing we missed out in the rush to get the photos to our couple in time? Well, the blog, of course! So let’s sort that our right now:

This was seriously one of the hottest days we’ve ever had to deal with when shooting a wedding. what better place to do this than in what was effectively a very large greenhouse..! Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel is a lovely place for a wedding – and I’m sure we’ll appreciate it even more if we return on a day when the temperatures are less than 30 degrees. 😉
