Charlotte and Dennis’s wedding festival photography at Merrist Wood College in Surrey. What can I say? What a fantastic day these guys had. Charlotte and Dennis had carried out the wedding formalities at a registry office a while beforehand. Today was all about celebrating that commitment with their family and friends. And what a way to do it.

The couple had glorious weather, which was obviously a blessing since they had a woodland ceremony. This is the first time Rob and I had attended a ceremony in the woods. I absolutely loved it. You could hear the birds chirping. As we were all under canopy, it was not too hot, but you had the sun streaming through in areas.

Charlotte and Dennis had incense burning throughout – all the senses were delighted! From the initial on-line invitations which featured their story and moments to the band that would be playing later on in the evening, this was an alternative wedding day!
