Bride and groom together in gardens on February wedding day at Great Fosters Surrey

Surrey wedding photography Great Fosters. The marriage of Anna and Danny at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Guildford and Great Fosters in Egham, Surrey.

Although difficult to believe, this was one of our February weddings and although chilly you would never know it from the beautiful smiles on Anna and Danny’s faces. Firstly, Anna and Danny tied the knot at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Guildford. After that, they celebrated with a glass of champagne in the VW Campervan on the way to Great Fosters for their wedding breakfast. It was a dry day but due to the chill factor, Rob and I did the formal photography in The Orangery at Great Fosters which worked really well since it’s a lovely space with lots of light.

The wedding breakfast was held in the Tithe Barn with its exposed vaulted English oak beams and a Minstrels’ Gallery. Decorated with fairy lights, this room certainly had a cosy, warm feel for a February evening. A room with lots of character. Dating from 1390, apparently, the Tithe Barn was painstakingly dismantled from its original site in Surrey and re-built at Great Fosters!

These have to be the most comfortable shoes that I have seen a bride wear on her wedding day.
