Professional cat photography on location in Carshalton, Surrey

Fresh back from the annual SWPP convention in Hammersmith last week, it’s back to work again and today I’d like to show you “Emerald” who lives with Helen in Carshalton, Surrey. Helen has three cats in total, and asked me to photograph Emerald at home where she knew she’d be relaxed for her sitting. No problem: Carshalton is only about 15 minutes from South Croydon, so I duly jumped in the car and headed off.
Emerald is a lovely cat – quite friendly, and very laid back, so she take a gorgeous portrait. Of course as with most pet photography, patience does play a part – whilst getting under the bed and staying there probably seems like an excellent idea for a cat, it does make things slightly more difficult for photography! Nonetheless, plenty of encouragement/coaxing/bribery, and out came Emerald to complete her portrait session. We got some lovely pictures of her, and included a few with Helen too who clearly loves her cat. 🙂
