Pet photography – Claire’s Labrador Jake

Here’s something I’ve not featured on the blog for a while… some dog photography.

I’ve been so busy with weddings this year that I haven’t had a chance to blog any pet photography for some time – but we still get a steady trickle of pampered pets and pooches coming through the doors to have their portraits taken. Today I’m going to show you a couple of photos of Claire’s black Labrador Jake. I photographed Jake on location in Haslemere recently using my mobile studio equipment, and owner Claire was keen to have a clean contemporary look to the photos – nothing too old fashioned or ‘cheesy’. We opted for a white backdrop, very popular right now, and set to capturing Jake’s character in pictures. Jake, who has a lovely calm manner about him and is very friendly, which made him a pleasure to photograph.
