Oaks Farm Barn Wedding Photography Croydon – Kate and David’s summer wedding at Oaks Farm Barn.  On our arrival, Rob and I headed to the cottage to find Kate mostly ready and feeling relaxed and happy.  After a lovely marriage ceremony in the stables, all wedding guests headed round to the garden for a very fitting wedding BBQ.  The groom and groomsmen couldn’t wait to peel off their jackets and waistcoats after the ceremony.  Who can blame them with the temperature in the 30s!

Kate and David have been a couple for quite a few years now.  I had the feeling that the couple felt it was just as important for the children to enjoy the day as the adults.  The adults were happy sipping cold beverages and trying to keep cool.  All the kids had a fantastic time – the entertainer had them playing lots of games and generally kept them busy and wearing them out.

I feel I need to give a mention to Kate’s sister who made the wedding cake.  The cake and cupcakes looked amazing.  From what I understand, this isn’t her profession – we were extremely impressed!  The guys didn’t bother with the usual formal speeches and just wanted to thank their friends and family for being with them and handing out some gifts as a ‘thank you’.

This crowd of lovely people thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their day.  Kate and David were as relaxed a couple as you will find.  We truly wish them the very best for their future happiness.
