Natural lifestyle family and baby portraits in Surrey

Today I’d like to show you a few pictures from a recent photo session I did with Finn and his family. This is the third time I’ve photographed Nicole and Michael’s kids for them, and they’re growing up fast! Our last session took place when Finn was just 7 weeks old, and it’s amazing how grown up now he’s a year old. It was also great to see his big sisters Carys and Isla again, both of whom are a joy to photograph.

We kept our photo session very informal since Nicole and Michael love natural lifestyle family portraits. Starting at the family home, I got a lovely set of relaxed photos as Finn played, and scooted up and down with great gusto, often leaving me trailing in his wake as I tried to keep up with my camera! After this, a short drive out to a little park area and we took some more photos – first of Finn, then of Carys and Isla once Finn decided he’d had enough. Let’s take a look at a few then. Above, we can see Finn looking rather funky and very chilled at home…

Isla loves having her photo taken, and who am I to argue? A very simple photo taken with natural window light above…

Finn is an extremely active baby – into everything, and always on the move!

We got some lovely photos of all the kids in the park – but even our top model for the day didn’t always want to pose for us! Once Finn had decided enough was enough, the girls continued to play despite the rather chilly day…

…and back home again – Carys finds some ‘phone fun… and I just loved the look on Finn’s face in this next photo!
