Back in 2008 I photographed Ayo and Justice’s Nigerian wedding ceremony, and with both an English and a Nigerian ceremony to cover, we got loads of great photos over a couple of rather hectic but definitely fun-packed days…
It was lovely to hear from Ayo again recently when she contacted me to tell me they were now expecting a new addition to the family and would like a maternity shoot to mark the occasion. A quick chat, and we established that Ayo was looking for a set of modern, mostly black and white “baby bump” photos in a low key setting against a black background. Sounds cool: so that’s just what we did…

It was great to catch up with Ayo and Justice again, and share a few laughs as we covered the session – and was equally great to hear the news of the birth of their gorgeous little girl Amelia, very soon after.
