High Expectations Asian wedding fayre and fashion show photos

Last weekend Karen and I attended the Asian wedding fayre held at Epsom Downs racecourse run by High Expectations. Organisers Tracey and Kemal had asked me to take some photos of the models as they entered and left the catwalk during the wedding fashion show… so with literally just a few seconds with each model as they headed off to enter the stage again, and a p.a. system loud enough to prevent all verbal communication this proved to be a very… interesting shoot! The models were great though, so in spite of the challenging shooting conditions I think we got some great shots:

For the second show of the day I decided to go up front to take some photos of the models on the catwalk…

So there you are… just a small selection of the photos from the day, with lots more to come. It was great to meet with lots of brides, as well as a few other photographers I’d not met before, and I think the event was a big succees with vendors of all types displaying their wares for the Asian wedding industry.
