Henley-on-Thames Wedding Photography Oxfordshire. Louise and Hamish’s wedding at The Crown Inn, Pishill, Oxfordshire.
The Crown Inn is an intimate barn wedding venue brimming with ambiance. However, also enjoys fabulous views from the front across the rural countryside. From a wedding photographer’s point of view, this is one of those venues that can be a challenge. You’ll need to have plenty of experience and know how to shoot in low light. For example, the barn is somewhat dark with just a few much brighter areas of light. The easy solution would be to light everything up with camera flashes. However, we prefer to work with ambient light whenever possible to really maintain the atmosphere. Louise told us this was what she loved about the venue, and that she’d always wanted to have her wedding in a barn.
On arrival, we met our bride and bridesmaids in The Cottage next door. The bridal preps were well underway and the groomsmen were in the barn fitting buttonholes and waiting to greet wedding guests.
We got loads of great wedding pictures on the day… so let’s take a look at a few of our favourites:

As you can see, our happy couple were blessed with beautiful weather for their special day. The wedding guests were all super-relaxed and friendly. A mention for the staff at The Crown Inn. They worked really hard to ensure that everything ran smoothly and that wedding the guests were well looked after.
As we left the wedding reception, the evening was setting in and we were sure it was going to be one heck of a party.
Finally … congratulations to Louise and Hamish – we wish you all the very best for the future.

Great as usual!
