Eastwell Manor Wedding Photography

Eastwell Manor is a country house located at Ashford, Kent. The venue is set in it’s own grounds with lovely kept lawns and well manicured gardens. The house itself has a luxurious and opulent feel, with plenty of dark wood panels throughout, and log fires to warm those winter weddings. In addition to catering for weddings, the venue also boasts a beauty spa, golf , gym, jacuzzi’ and even a 20 metre swimming pool – so plenty of pampering all round. Rooms are available both within the Manor and in “Eastwell Mews”, and slightly separate set of cottages in the grounds.

From a photographer’s view Eastwell Manor offers lots of scope for some charming wedding photography, either traditional or contemporary. The manor house itself is an impressive looking building from outside, and the gardens offer enough variety to get some great pictures of the bride and groom, either intimate or fun. Inside, the wooden panelling provides warm atmosphere your photographer will love – and with grand leaded windows, impressive staircases and log fires all available you’ll not be short of funky places to shoot your wedding pictures!

For guests, the dining room is equally impressive and looks absolutely beautiful laid out for the wedding breakfast as you can see from the pictures shown here. Main lighting comes courtesy of a pair of ornate chandeliers, with window light adding to the mix – so your photographer will need to keep a technical eye on colour balance to shoot well… but it certainly does look lovely!

Several bar and restaurant areas are available within Eastwell Manor, and for evening celebrations guest can move on to the separate pavilion bar area, which also has it’s own dance floor for the fun to continue.

All in all, Eastwell Manor is a beautiful venue for your Kent wedding, and is certainly one I’d recommend if you’re looking for a venue in Kent sporting that extra touch of luxury for your wedding day.
