Christine and Liam’s wedding at the Alverbank Hotel, Hampshire

The marriage of Christine Glynn and Liam Gant on Saturday 20th March 2010 at the Alverbank Hotel, Stokes Bay, Gosport in Hampshire.

What a day! Last Saturday Kevin and I spent the day with Christine and Liam down in Stokes Bay, Hampshire. I haven’t been down that way for a while, so off I went nice and early on Saturday morning to meet Kev at a local cafe for a spot of breakfast and a cuppa before starting out. The drive down from Croydon was pretty horrible, with heavy rain making visibility a problem on the motorway – so I was keeping my fingers crossed that the day would show at least some dry spells for the wedding!

Luckily enough as we reached Christine in Gosport, the weather started to ease and the day brightened up a bit. We got some lovely pictures of Christine, who was very calm and relaxed with her bridesmaids before setting off to the weding venue at the nearby Alverbank Hotel. Once there we met our groom Liam and then proceeded to record the wedding ceremony which was held in a very warm and atmospheric permanent marquee located at the back of the hotel, and gave the whole wedding ceremony a friendly intimate feel. Family and guests were in good spirits throughout the day, and a good time was certainly had by all!

We did manage to get one brief spell outside to take a few bride and groom photos, which I was really pleased with.
