Chinese and English wedding photography in Wandsworth

The marriage of Millie Larke and Neil Bryant, with both the wedding ceremony and reception taking place at the China Boulevard restaurant in Wandsworth.

Karen and I couldn’t have started any closer to home for Millie and Neil’s wedding day… Millie elected to get ready at home, which is literally just a stone’s throw from our own place – so it was an easy thing to make sure we arrived on time! We arrived to find Millie and the girls in good spirits as they prepared for the day, and the finishing touches just being applied to hair and make-up. Once this was complete, we took some lovely photos of our bride, before setting off for the wedding itself…

This was our first visit to the China Boulevard in Wandsworth, which turned out to be a top Chinese restaurant more than capable of holding both the wedding and reception with ease. The ceremony had a very personal feel to it, with both happy and tender moments, before being followed by a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.

Once the formalities were done, we took a few formal and informal photos outside, before the 10 course Chinese banquet was served… and what a meal that was!

Everybody was relaxed throughout the day, clearly enjoying the wedding festivities…

…and at the end of the day it was time for us to leave, knowing the celebrations would continue on for some time afterwards.
