2012 Picture of the Year – The results!

After much frenzied voting over the last month or so, voting for our 2012 picture of the year competition closed at 8pm last night – and we’ve now totted up all the eligible votes, and have a winner…

Unfortunately, we did lose a number of votes from people who didn’t quite manage to vote correctly – and also had to remove some (uhum)… dubious votes too 🙁

But enough of that, and I’m pleased to announce the accolade of winning picture goes to… Libby and Joe, for the shot of Libby in her wedding car, smiling up at Dad.

Well done guys! You’ll be receiving your free framed print of this image very soon! 🙂

At the end though, the voting really did come down to the wire…

…and since it was so close and I know the second place image did also suffer from some confusion (due to their gallery still being online and grabbing some votes in the wrong place)… and of course because we’re such nice people here at Robert Hooper Photography…. ( 🙂 )… we’re also going to give a second framed print to the runners up, “Mel and Matt in the snow”:

So… well done to both couples, and a huge thank you for everybody who supported our little competition and took the time to vote. I hope you’ll continue to follow our photography throughout 2013.
