Hi all,
Just a quickie – no new pictures to show you this week: we’ve been away for a short break in Turkey.
We (Karen and I) had a lovely week of real relaxation and chilling out. The weather was great, the people were fantastically friendly, food was amazing, and the chill-out factor was through the roof 🙂
I’d love to show you some pictures, but the honest truth is (and I’m ashamed to admit)… I really don’t have any! A strange thing, you might think – but think on this: I love photography like you might love your favourite food: love to do it, love to eat it… but sometimes… sometimes isn’t it great to do something completely different? Then when you return to your food (or photography) you can enjoy it all the more!
Now we’re back I feel ready to pick up the camera and really go at it again. I have some fun jobs lined up over the next few weeks and I can’t wait to get back in the swing of things once I’ve caught up on all my emails and deleted a million spams collected in the previous week.
Truth be told, it was great to laze around and not hit the shutter all week (oh, alright I did take a couple of photo’s – but really it was only a couple. Karen took a few more, I’ll try to prize a couple out of her for you…
I have to confess I didn’t know too much about Turkey (still don’t, really) but I would thoroughly recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday – there are even some great photo opportunities if you look for them 😉
All the best,
A very relaxed Rob.
