Gary’s family portraits

Gary contacted me some time ago to arrange a photo session with his family – 12 people in total, including baby. The shoot was arranged for a Sunday when everybody could get together at Mum and Dad’s home in Farnham and would take place in their garden…

Unfortunately after holding off all week the weather finally decided to break on Sunday morning and the heavens opened. No garden portraits today then but with everybody rounded up together it was decided to go ahead with the shoot inside instead… so I packed up my trusty portable studio lighting and headed for a very wet M25.

Luckily Mum and Dad have a lovely house with plenty of room, so being indoors didn’t create too many problems despite having such a large group. The family were all super friendly, and relaxed into the shoot right way. I even gained new assistant for the day in the form of Sofie, who did a sterling job of handling my reflector when needed. Thanks Sofie!

So here are a few pictures taken from the session. Let’s start with the whole gang..

6 weeks old… isn’t he sweet?

All the kids were great smilers and very entertaining. Not so bad from yourself either Gary!
