Emma and Steve’s wedding day at St. Paul’s Church, Beckenham

The wedding of Emma Howick and Steve Rockey – Saturday 20th June 2009

Wow.

Let me re-introduce you to Emma and Steve…. you might remember today’s couple from their pre wedding shoot at Kelsey Park in Beckenham. Although the weather for the pre wedding shoot was a bit grim, Emma and Steve turned out to be really easy to work with, both with a ready smile and a laugh – so I knew the wedding would be a fun one.

Karen and I met Emma at Mum’s place in Beckenham just a few minutes from the church. Smiley as ever, Emma looked fantastic as a bride. After taking some great pictures, we went on to meet Steve at the church. The wedding ceremony had a friendly relaxed feel to it, which continued throughout the day.

The reception was back to Mum’s  where a huge marquee had been erected in the grounds. With a great turnout of both lads and ladies from Emma and Steve’s respective hockey teams, it was clear that the reception was going to be both fun and lively… and they didn’t dissapoint. By the time Karen and I eventually said our goodbyes at around 10.30pm, the party was really just getting into full swing, and I just know that this was going to be a good one!

So… let’s see some pictures then!

…and finally…

I don’t think all the boy and girls from the hockey club would ever forgive me if I didn’t give you at least some idea of what we did for some fun at the side of the church. When we had this idea, we were expecting maybe 10 people to be a part of it – little did we know what we started here!

Thanks ever so much to everyone involved – you all made it a lot of fun to be a part of and photograph. We have loads more photos to show, after Emma and Steve get back from honeymoon, and the album is going to look great.

Please leave your comments at the bottom of the post – I know Emma and Steve will be looking in to see what we got!

That’s all from me for now then. All the best,

Rob.
