Well, after a somewhat fraught week or so, largely spent installing software and copying data between old and new machines, I finally feel like I’m getting somewhere back to normal. Still lots to do – but I’ve ‘finally’ reached a point where I can work again. Looking forward to putting the new pc through its paces soon!
Of course, that wasn’t the only thing that held me up a bit last week. Parents will know that last week was half-term for many kids – so I took the opportunity to grab a few days off and spend some great time with my lad, Dan. Trips to London, films, pizzas, tapas, bowling, drag racing, bonfires and Stotties… Know what a stottie is? I didn’t, until I ate one. Must be a northern thing 😉
Let’s show you a picture then… but not one of mine. This is one of Dan’s, taken on my lovely little Lumix camera during a very cold day at Santa Pod Raceway at the weekend;

Wheelying fire trucks: not a sight you see every day round my way. All great fun – but now time for “back to work” proper 🙂
Catch up soon!
Rob.
