I can honestly say that Rob deserves a medal for putting up with me in the run up to the wedding!
As I was not able to meet with him before the actual day I sent numerous emails to him all of which were replied to very quickly. He was very patient and talked me through everything that I needed to know as well as suggesting timings for things that would never have even entered my head.
When Rob and Kevin arrived at the house before the wedding they were constantly around but were never intrusive or ‘in your face’, apart from when it was actually Rob himself that explained that I would be late for my own wedding if I didn’t hurry up and get the bridesmaids out of the house!
Neither my now husband or myself wanted ‘posy’ shots and Rob took that into account when photographing us, I’m still not entirely sure about the rugby tackle photos that were taken but the groomsmen loved them! Throughout the day Rob and Kevin blended into the crowd and took some truly stunning photo’s. As I was so nervous before and during the ceremony it is lovely to have these photo’s to look back at as I don’t remember any of the wedding itself!
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rob to any of my friends, he was the major contributor (apart from my parents!) in making sure my wedding day really was the best day of my life!

We feel very fortunate to have found Robert Hooper Photography and cannot recommend enough! We knew from our first meeting with Rob that he would help us to get the style of photos that we wanted for our wedding; we did not want to book a photographer who would be unimaginative and solely produce ‘traditional’ posed shots – with Rob we got a photographer who was enthusiastic and keen to take some quirky shots as well as the traditional wedding photos. Rob arranged a pre-wedding photo shoot which was an excellent opportunity to get to know him better and helped to make us feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.
On the day itself Rob and his assistant Karen were fantastic – well organised, attentive and managed to take beautiful photos without being intrusive but at the same time managing to coordinate everyone, including us!
The after service was also impeccable – Rob’s blog and the online gallery are great tools which allowed our friends/family a sneak preview of our photos and was a lovely reminder of the day! When we were invited back to the studio Rob had organised a slide show to music of the photographs he had taken, it truly told the story of our day and we were so pleased with the results. Rob’s professionalism and creative flare are evident in our final photos and he has produced us a stunning wedding album that we will treasure forever.
We cannot fault the service we received – it could not be improved upon in our opinion. We would highly recommend Rob to anyone and if we should need a photographer again would use without hesitation.

Rob took care of our wedding photography at Oaks Farm in Shirley at the end of May 2011. We were really delighted with the results – the key thing for us was that the photographs should really capture a sense of the relaxed atmosphere of the day and this was definitely achieved, often in a very creative manner. Rob was also good to work with on the day, playing his part in keeping the atmosphere going, getting the job done without ever being obtrusive. We have an excellent Jorgensen album of the day – a real quality product as Rob refuses to work with inferior alternatives. He’d be the first to admit he doesn’t come cheap, but you get what you pay for.
We’d absolutely recommend Rob and his work.

We liked what we saw on the internet site – pictures fitted with our informal fun theme. We felt the packages offered included exactly what we were looking for; the hours, the Cd and the type of album. On meeting Robert we felt at ease and relaxed. Our experience with Rob was fantastic. We asked for professional head shots for use on our company website and none of us like having our photos taken so if I can be honest it was not something we were looking forward to. Rob came along and was very professional, patient and extremely friendly and made us all feel at complete ease and made the whole session a lot of fun.
I did joke to Rob that I hoped he could work miracles as he had very hard subjects to work with and he did just that. We wanted a photographer who was experienced with the venue. We were very impressed with the style of photography and the sample photos that we saw on the blog.
