Hi all,
Well, after a long and amazingly busy wedding season we finally shot our last wedding of the year just over a week ago. We’ve had such a fun time shooting this year that in some ways it’s going to be a case of “what am I going to do with my weekends” for the next month or so… but on the other hand we’ve been so busy it’ll also be great to take a breather before kicking off again in 2011. In the meantime, I’ve also been shooting a few more portraits, and even pet photography recently so I’ll try to get a few examples of those online soon enough too.
So, Andrea and Pete – what an amazing and totally lovely couple. Andrea is a priest and Pete is deeply religious… so when they initially came to see me with a view to booking their wedding photography, they were obviously very keen to ensure that their photography would be as discreet as possible during the church service – particularly during prayers and the wedding vows themselves. We’re always happy to reassure people that although our priority is taking the best pictures we can, we also agree that the wedding vows and prayers should remain as undisturbed as possible. Fortunately Andrea had already spotted a few of her colleagues in some of my previous wedding photos, and hadn’t heard any scary stories about me… so we were good to go!
As well as his religious beliefs, Pete is also known for being something of an amateur photographer himself – so he was keen to have a great set of pictures taken during the day. Let’s kick off with a selection of my favourites plucked from the day so far then. Do you think the kids were happy to participate?

Karen did a sterling job from the back, as ever![]()

Of course, we weren’t the only photographers at the wedding![]()

So there you have it…
We have lots more photos to show Andrea and Pete once they return from honeymoon and I know this is going to make a beautiful wedding album. Thank you so much for inviting us to photograph your big day – and for trusting us to be discreet - I hope you enjoy the results! In fact, I understand we had about 14 priests attending Andrea and Pete’s wedding in total, beating my previous record by about 6 – so I hope we did a good job, or we’ll probably never work again!!![]()
As is usual, please do feel free to leave your comments below.
All the best for now!
Rob.

Well done Robert, an excellent job! You captured the day brilliantly, and Andrea and I are really looking forward to seeing the rest of the shots.

Great photos, and some very romantic images! Well done!
I know Andrea and Pete are delighted with them, so am sure you will get lots of good comments.
Amazing photos, so full of colour and the fun of the day! Can’t wait to see more.
Great pictures- really looking forward to the whole set and getting some copies for my photo album!
Lovely photos! I get to catch up on all the stuff I missed chasing our two around
Looking forward to seeing the whole set.
You have chosen pictures that truly represent the essence of the day – very professionally done – look forward to seeing how you have captured the whole day.
Fabulous! It was a wonderful day, very relaxed, happy and joyous. The photos have absolutely captured it. I also really liked the calm and fun way you approached taking the photos, never intrusive but you made sure you got what you wanted. I’ve never seen an album site like this with personal reflections on the day – which also seems to capture your brilliant attitude to your profession. Impressive stuff and I’m thrilled you did such a great job for my rather splendid mates. Cheers
These pictures are beautiful and captured what was a perfect day in a perfect way, we all thoroughly enjoyed the day and wish Pete and Andrea every happiness in their married life together.
They really are lovely photos.
I particularly love the shot through the branches/leaves…stunning! ; )
Loved looking at these, can’t wait to see the album!
Great Photos. Absolute quality. Makes me wish I was there all the more!
