Surrey wedding photography at Gatton Manor

The marriage of Lynsey Sparkes and Neil Walpole, Saturday 31st July 2010 at St Mary Magdalene Church in Holmwood, Dorking and wedding reception at Gatton Manor near Dorking, Surrey.

Hi all,

Today I’d like to introduce you to Lynsey and Neil who were married near Dorking a little over a week ago. This wedding was a little unusual for me because I hadn’t met either Lynsey or Neil prior to the wedding day (this was a wedding booked after I was kindly recommended by Ellen and Dan who were married at Nutfield Priory last year) – so it would be interesting to meet and photograph our couple on the day! As it turned out both Lynsey and Neil were very relaxed throughout the day and proved to be a fun couple to photograph. We got a great series of pictures both at the church and at Gatton Manor – so let’s take a look at a few right now:

Many thanks to everyone at the wedding for being so friendly and accommodating throughout the day – and thanks especially to Lynsey and Neil who both performed admirably when asked to pose for their photos – sometimes under difficult circumstances such as when poor Neil who found himself completely flattened at the bottom of an impromptu rugby scrum courtesy of his groomsmen while we were taking photos (oh yes, we have photographic evidence of this)!
