We’re in! Who said moving was stressful?

Well… after a week of almost everything that can go wrong… going wrong… I can personally vouch for moving being a very stressful time!

Imagine for a moment… dirt, grime, no phone, no internet, no email access, no water supply, blocked wastes, more dirt & grime, contracts exchanging waaaay past last knockings, wierd smells, more mess than you can shake a stick at, and pretty much a whole host of other things for good measure… and you’ll get a small idea of our past week.

A big thanks to everybody who emailed me in the past week or so and was patient enough to hang on for a reply – after being told we’d have our ‘phones running last Monday, I’m only today (8 days later) back hooked up and online. Thanks heavens for the good old iphone, which just about managed to help me scrape by collecting and answering my emails from the latter part of last week onwards – and thanks to my good buddy Billy who’s far cleverer than I am at this stuff, and re-routed my emails to my ‘phone while my server was offline. Also, a huge thanks to Kev, who came up for two days especially to help us move, and played a major part in getting all the lifting done. Hope the back’s better now mate

So… we’re still a long way from being back to ‘normal’ but I do now have phone and internet access, and expect my email system to be running as normal within a day or two. I feel so much better for that! Now it’s onwards and upwards – decorating, cleaning, new floors, new ceilings, new pretty much everything really.

Oh yeah… and it’s time to get back to work again too!

…and if anyone did try ‘phoning or emailing over the last week and didn’t get a reply – big sorry to you – and please do get in touch again (and you’ll get and answer this time).
