Mary and Peter’s wedding day at Addington Palace

Saturday 23rd August 2008, and Kevin and I were lucky enough to witness the marriage of Mary Hesledon and Peter Burke at the beautiful venue of Addington Palace, Surrey.

Addington Palace is a wonderful venue, with lashings of character: this was going to be a fun day! I found Mary and her Bridesmaids getting ready upstairs in a beautiful light room overlooking the golf course…

This shot of Mary’s dress show just a little of the ornate furnishings typical of the venue.

…and of course we can’t forget our groom: this is Peter, who looked after everything including the smallest of details, to ensure that the whole day ran perfectly – which it did!

Lovely bright sunshine got the crowd cheering and the confetti flying!

…then while their guests took their seats for the wedding breakfast we took a few moments to gather some beautiful traditional photographs of both Mary and Peter on the staircase outside the great hall…

A tender unscripted moment during the speeches, for Mary and Peter…

Fantastic: lots more of those to come – but you’re going to have to wait until Mary and Peter have seen the rest first!

I do hope you like the previews – please leave your comments at the bottom of the post, I’m sure Mary and Peter would love to read them. Thanks for all your help and co-operation during the day guys, and thanks to everybody else for their hospitality.

All the best for now,

Rob.
